
Have you ever went oustside one night and looked up to see the miraculous sight of stars? Just think of how many there are! Hundreds, thousands, millions, billions, trillions! Out to infinity! We do not know of anything else existing, except the universe, YET.
Basic definition of a star; A star is a massive, luminous ball of plasma held together by gravity. At the end of it`s lifetime, a star can also contain a proportion of degenerate matter. (Plasma; In phisycs and chemisrty, plasma is a state of matter similar to gas in which a certain portion of particle are ironized.) Did you know that a Plasma TV really contains plasma?

Now back to stars. Most stars a between 1 billion to 10 billion years old. Some stars could go to the age of 13.7 billion years, but the oldest on record for now is 13.2 billion.

The picture above are some planets and stars or suns. #1 shows the planets: Pluto, Mercury, Venus, and Earth. But...you should know #1 and 2 already. Each individual picture shows from smallest to the largest. So you can see how small our sun is! Isn`t it amazing!
